I'm Back! Here's What I've Been Up To On My Hiatus...

Well hey there! Did ya miss me? 😉

It’s been an entire year since I published a post on Blog Beautifully, and at least six months since I sent an email to my mailing list. But good news: I’m back! And I’m super excited for what’s to come. Read to the end of this post to hear what’s coming up next for Blog Beautifully and how you can get involved.

So, what the heck have I been up to over the last 6-12 months?! Here’s a quick rundown…

April 2018: YFCL launch

Last year around this time, I was running the launch for my newest Blog Beautifully course, “Your First Course Launch”. The launch went super well, and I loved hearing all the success stories from my students.

At the same time, I was also working on another project behind-the-scenes: my new website, kristadickson.com.

June 2018: Launching my new business

On June 1st, I launched my new website and business, kristadickson.com, which was about manifestation and spiritual practices for building a successful business. I had a beautiful new website, new social accounts, and I quickly started creating offerings for my new audience.

Over the summer, I ran a 3-month mastermind program which was one of the highlights of my entire year. Then in September, I launched my first online course in my new business: Clients Made Easy.

Fall 2018: Big changes!

Two big things happened last fall. First was that I had the crazy idea to launch a new course called, “Woo-Woo Weight Loss”, all about how I lost 40 pounds in 2018 by using the principles of manifestation.

Second, I decided to fully close down Blog Beautifully. This meant deleting my website, cancelling my email list service, and getting rid of all of my social media accounts.

As much as I loved Blog Beautifully, none of my old courses were for sale anymore and running a blog and business without making any sales is expensive! It was a tough decision, but at the time, it felt like the right one.

December 2018: A shift to weight loss & health

The first round of my Woo-Woo Weight Loss course went so well that I felt inspired to pivot my entire business in a new direction: Spiritual weight loss and healing. I was (and still am!) super passionate about those topics.

I made the shift in December, announced it to my audience, and even launched a podcast at the start of 2019 called Woo-Woo Wellness to further my new direction.

Coming back to Blog Beautifully

And now, here I sit. Obviously, I’ve re-opened Blog Beautifully! And I’m super, super excited about it.

There were a lot of factors that played into this decision, but one of the big things was you guys. I still get emails and messages to this day from people saying how much they miss my Blog Beautifully website, my courses, and my emails.

Even though (get this!) my krista@blogbeautifully.com email address wasn’t in service for the past few months — people still found a way to contact me and let me know how much they loved my old content and missed it.

And to be honest, I missed it too. A lot! Talking about blogging, business, courses, Pinterest… it feels so natural to me.

I know without a doubt that I was making a huge impact with Blog Beautifully back in the day, and I’m ready to increase that impact even more.

So, what’s up next?

Blog Beautifully is back with a brand new website, brand, and tagline. All of my amazing courses are also back up and running! If you love what I do, check out my courses to see if any of them are a good fit for you (your purchases help keep this site up and running, so they’re very much appreciated!).

Fresh new content will be coming your way soon, and I have so many ideas for how I can serve you ladies in 2019 and beyond. To stay up-to-date with everything going on and make sure you don’t miss a thing, be sure to follow me on my new @blogbeautifully Instagram account.
